East Europe. Middle Ages. Anton fighter sneaks home from Ottoman captivity. But this warrior is not simple, he knows how to cause the strength of hell to his aid. So, to the enemies who will be in his way – will not be greeted. Stylish, bloody RPG with a plot and step -by -step battles in the world of dark Slavic fantasy. Without spoilers Longrid.
A warrior named Anton was the messenger of his state, but fell into Ottoman slavery. It is not clear how he was able to get out, but the hero left an inhospiting place with an ax-pistol of the work of the Turkish master and strange forces.
The road home turned out to be not at all easy.
Native lands also meet Anton joylessly. All around bandits, plague, some sects and crazy people.
Still, he arrives home. The wife died of the plague, not waiting for him for long, but her daughter Olga is alive.
Also, no one took off the oath of allegiance to the king from Anton. The local ruler quarrels with his son and, it turns out that he wants to appoint the successor to the kingdom of our hero.
This is, in fact, a subtle moment, which I myself did not definitely understand. The disgraced prince speaks in direct text in the course of the game, but in order for Anton to be recognized as the heir, I do not recall.
The prince arbitrarily leaves the castle of his father with a few faithful people and goes is not known where. He does not have a special goal, judging by his speeches. Nikolai acts as the second significant character, and in parallel and the villain of this story. They will be given to play more than once for him, which is not so typical for RPG – to allow to guarantee an antagonist.
The king gave our hero a scroll and ordered him to deliver him to another ruler Sigismund. Around this trip, mostly the whole plot is being built.
Anton agrees because he has nothing more left but fidelity.
He also loves his daughter, but decides to go on a trip and part with her for a while.

On the way with the team, there will be a lot of adventures and several significant and memorable side tasks. We will help out the native Thomas out of slavery, Chris himself will save some crazy robbers from the fortress, behind Rudolf in a dangerous swamp.
In principle, tasks are similar to standard mission of partners. But with only one important difference – there is a complete tin and there are completely unforeseen turns in the plot. Personally, I like this when the story does not go academic on the string.
I did not like that there are practically no significant elections and any dialogs that would affect something. For example, we just decide whether to go to the side of the companion or not. I walked everywhere. Experience, Lut and Mini-History on the road do not lie.
That is, it turns out that the plot is interesting, but it is spelled out in advance.
The first one or two combat levels – training. Then Anton is going home.
In the tutorial we will be told how to fight in human and devilish form, how to cause hellish strength, how to interact with satellites, be treated and so on.
The game consists of plot videos and missions, where one of the detachments is sent.
We have two main characters and two groups that we will steer. The team of Prince Nicholas and Anton’s detachment.
The Nikolai detachment goes to the mission exclusively in the plot and in a strictly set composition. The equipment is always by default, this detachment, moreover, does not pump in levels. It was for the last reason that it seemed to me that they were somehow twisted in the stats. They really deftly chop the opponents, and the hits are very poorly passing on them.
The prince’s troops consist of his best friend, Landsknecht Cyril and two more mercenaries, armored cuirassier Alfred (visually, even in armor differs from Antonon Christophe) and the Hungarian shooter Imre.
The team of Nikolai begins with him and Cyril, and the rest are added during the game.
Anton has a camp with supplies, unit equipment, pumping, statistics, collecting the detachment on the task and a textual story about fighters. Sometimes, but not every time, we get here between missions.
From time to time, plot conversations take place here. For the whole time of the game, only once, or two could somehow affect further events in the dialogue. As I said above, the plot is stiffly set.
In the camp, you can equip members of the detachment with weapons, armor and consumables. This is a very responsible stage. The battles here are very long and tense, and you can not take so much with you, relative to these zarub.

In fact, each character in the game is a separate class, with a unique pumping tree. But they are united by belonging to one of three conditional archetypes: a fighter of close combat, shooter, support warrior. Units, in general, immediately have some inclinations, therefore-it is reasonable to strengthen their best qualities and at a minimum to pay attention to poor.
For example, cuirassier, of course, you can try to teach a accurate shooting, but there is no sense in much.
Important. Not every unit of weapons or armor will dress on a particular character, you need to watch individual compatibility every time.
Pumping occurs only according to the results of missions. For the level of heroes, a point or two stats, skills, skills can be laid. Anton is a little apart, he is still given points for demonic abilities.
In the camp, you can assemble a detachment for tasks. There are two important points here.
Some missions are supposed to be a campaign, for example, two heroes. For example, when you need to help out Thomas’s family, Anton says – I’ll go with you too. You can take other characters, but, suddenly, the experience will not be credited to them.
And the second thing is that it is better to gather in the battle of all who can.
Almost all the time, except for absorption of plots, they occupy battles about them and will celebrate.
The battles here take place in completely step -by -step mode, on hefty, beautiful locations. We are waiting for villages, small locks, forest ambushes and one huge damned city.

Almost always, except for the main task of the mission, there is also a side one, which is very interesting to perform. As a rule, this is a challenge, where there will definitely be more enemies and, accordingly, the possibilities to lose. And on the map you have to run.

Battles take place according to strictly defined rules. All fighters have an action glasses (usually three) that can be spent on moving or performing combat techniques.
As already written above, every unit is, in fact, a unique class. So, you have to study the capabilities of every fighter in order to develop the play style specifically.
And again, Anton stands apart. This is the main character and a character who is able to change the battlefield completely.
The fact is that he has devilish forces and, of course, can activate them.
In order to turn into a satanic creature, Anton first needs to fill out the scale of rage. There are several options for this.
To execute the enemies who came out of the battle with a special blow (all the members of the detachment can do this, except Igor). Opponents in this situation fall to the knee and do not pose a danger. If they do not touch them, then they themselves will die in 2-3 moves.
Anton can finish his fallen associates. An unreal amount of rage points will be given out for execution. But, usually, such extreme actions are not required.
Our hero, awakening the demonic essence, gets special skills. He begins to chop in close combat claws, receives an action for murders, teleports to enemies, can lure the weak spirit of the opponents to his side, and so on.
When the Beast mode is activated, the battlefield changes, it is covered with a bloody haze and fire may light up in some places.
Enemies in this game do not allow to get bored at all. There are several of their types now and there is one dangerous boss in stock.
The behavior of ordinary opponents must be studied and it is advisable to at least approximately understand what they are capable of. Simple enemies are represented by a set, beginning peasants and ending with a variety of armored knights-cultists.
I will not clarify the boss, since it would be a spoiler. But, in short, this is a dangerous and extremely tenacious creature. He has many phases and he hurts painfully. Attacks the boss completely unexpectedly during the passage and had to tinker with him. It is good that by that time I already understood that it was necessary to save consumers and wear only the most necessary of them, they, in fact, pulled out this battle.
Enemies are not stupid at all. They act thoughtfully. Constantly hide behind shelters, make ambushes in the right places, they do not attack our first warrior, who will meet in the way, but, for example, one that you can finish off.
Numerous arrows cause special troubles. I recommend that they destroy as soon as possible. The shooter can become a real splinter if he sets in the right place or competently keeps a distance. And this is the ammunition of our warriors and each shot is worth a lot. Enemies shoot as many times.
In principle, it remains only to tell about the general rules of the battle that are in the game.
If the movement of the character ends at the shelter, then the unit automatically hides behind him. The only exception if the fighter decides to ambush (more on that later). This works for our heroes and for enemies. Shelter can be complete or partial. By the way, Slacks with firearms shot full shelters several times. I don’t know how correct this is, you can interpret this and so. It is possible that it depends on the nature of the shelter itself (wooden box and stone wall), but there is no clear description of this topic.
One of the options for creative expenditure of action points is to ambush. This means that the character will be able to attack in some sector if the enemies enter it.
The attack can be a weapon of neighboring or long -range combat. If this is something gunshot, then it will need to reload it to attack further. But sometimes one shot is very important. For example, only once Anton (he had to survive) unsuccessfully ambushed, and there was an enemy with a gun and had to be replaced by a large level.
Ambushes are displayed by red sectors. When organizing ambushes with arrows, you can choose whether to shoot at a distance closer, but with a wider shelling sector or further, but with a smaller width of the sector.
It may seem that ambushes with a near battle are useless. Believe me, even as useful during the zaruba in some narrow aisle.
The rule of a free cute attack works, if you get out of close combat or run along the trajectory close to the enemy fighter. This, in general, is a standard rule for good step by step.
Personally, I really liked the game with my flavor, flew in one breath, which is called. Here lies the sad moment. The game is relatively short. I needed 14 hours (light complexity), which was not much for a good, especially step -by -step RPG. Reigracy, which is declared, is practically no, whether the game will be overcome by a nice or shooter – I do not see much difference.
Now the game is in early access. Promise to give up all kinds of plots, especially sideways. The case is necessary, since at the end somehow the thread of the narrative is lost, it is not clear why these heroes do what they do and what this will lead to them.

± right now, the plot is not completely sewn to the end. The final does not answer any questions. Perhaps this is for the better, it will be more interesting to play in the full version. The plots promised to give a lift.
± The plot is good, but linear. Personally did not strain me. But, obviously, it could be better to beat.
± The game of a short -term person personally seemed to me. For RPG, you usually need 100-200 hours. Here now – 20. But some do not like long games.
